Protein Bars

Ingredients

1 cup honey

I cup natural crunchy peanut butter (you can use almond butter)

I cup cocoa powder

3/4 cup shredded coconut

3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

2/3 cup Biosteel vanilla protein powder (or any third party tested protein powder)

1/2 cup each: dried cranberries, chopped pecans, walnuts, almonds, and pumpkin seeds. You can use whatever combination you like.

Instructions

Add all dry ingredients together.

In saucepan over low heat (or glass bowl in microwave) warm up honey and add peanut butter – stir until smooth.

Add dry ingredients – should be tough to stir.

Press into a square cake pan. Cool and slice into bars. Freeze well.

Peanut Butter Protein Balls

Ingredients

(can use almond butter as well)

1/2 cup natural peanut butter

2 tablespoons butter

1/3 cup honey

1 tsp vanilla extract

2/3 cup protein powder

1 cup oats (I use the Rogers oats with flaxseed – it’s in the blue bag)

1/3 cup shredded coconut

2 tablespoons chocolate chips (can use mini or regular size)

Instructions

Blend together peanut butter, butter, vanilla, and honey in mix master. Add protein powder, then oats, and then the rest of the ingredients. Blend. Roll into balls and chill. Freeze well.
